Provides a resource on local community care and health
services

To provide a community care and health information service.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
CareData maintains a database of information relevant to the
Grampian area, which is available online. Information
available includes areas such as NHS services, social
services, voluntary groups, leisure and recreation
facilities, employment, education and training, local
authorities and housing.
OPENING HOURS:
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 4.30pm (Answer machine at all
other hours).
MEMBERSHIP COSTS:
Information is provided free of charge to users and to
organisations / services who provide information for the
database.

Peterhead Aged and Infirm Committee
Local disability information and advice service
Also known as: Care for You
AIMS:
- To provide a comprehensive and practical service for older
people and disabled people living in Peterhead and the
surrounding areas
- To provide convalescent, one week holidays for those who
might not otherwise be able, or for relatives / carers who
need a break from caring duties.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Information service
- Pacemaker service for clubs for disabled and visually
impaired people
- Dial-a-Bus service for the sheltered housing clients and
group outings
- Relief Care service: Provide a sitter carer helper
enabling the relative or carer to have some leisure time
- Two onsite holiday caravans which have been adapted to
accommodate wheelchair users.
