- Advice for people affected by cancer (Macmillan CAB
partnership)
- Volunteer development.
OPENING HOURS:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10.00am - 3.45pm
Wednesday, 10.00am - 1.00pm and 1.00pm - 4.00pm for
telephone advice
Thursday evening surgery, 5.00pm - 7.00pm. Money advice
telephone helpline, 5.00pm - 7.00pm
Thursday - legal surgeries, 5.00pm - 7.00pm.

AIMS:
- Specific issues to bring down barriers which prevents
full participation in the social, political and economical
life of people with a disability
- To support people in achieving control over their lives
and having a say over what happens to them.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Information and advice on all aspects of disability
relevant to any issues disabled people may have
- Telephone help-line
- Outreach information service
- Set up and maintain outreach centres
- Disability awareness training for the community
- Support to Start-up and Voluntary projects
- Information distribution
- Representation on other agencies relating to disability
issues
- Campaigning on specific issues
- Provide access audits
- Delivering disability equality training to statutory
organisations and other agencies with a team of trained
volunteers
- Home visits can be arranged.

Strathclyde Autistic Society
Offer help and information for anyone who has autistic
spectrum disorder and their carers
Also known as:
AIMS:
The Society is a parent led charity who's aim is to support
individuals on the autistic spectrum from childhood to
adulthood and their carers.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Strathclyde Autistic Society has a Family Support Worker,
and an Aspergers Co-ordinator
- Offer help and information to anyone who has autistic
spectrum disorder and their carers
- Run a playscheme during the school holidays
- Provide home support for clients who need respite.
MEMBERSHIP / COSTS:
Membership fee is ?5.00 per annum.

AIMS:
To provide disability information and advice to people
living in North Lanarkshire.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Support and advice on disability aids and equipment.
Range of items on display and are available to try out.
- Information and advice on a range of topics relating to
all forms of disability
- Mobile unit. This unit will have an information officer
and will travel around local areas in North Lanarkshire.
