New Tourist Information Resource ‘Open Britain’ launched  

Three disability organisations, RADAR, Tourism For All and the National Federation of Shopmobility, have teamed up in partnership with the A.A. to create and promote ‘Open Britain’, a comprehensive tourism website and guide book for disabled people

Supported by ALL national tourism authorities and Regional Development Agencies, OpenBritain aims to become a one stop shop facility for all those requiring accessiblity information and assistance. With backing from many organisations including The AA, British Hospitality Association, The National Trust, English Heritage and Hudson’s – OpenBritain will develop a wide range of service and information facilities aimed to provide as much reliable information as possible with particular emphasis on UK, tourism and holidays.
