In addition to our membership services, UPDATE provide a range of electronic and printed resources, which are available to other organisations, groups and members of the public. Some of these publications are provided free of charge, while there is a small charge for others.
This is a new resource which has now been released. This resource is available as an online searchable database and has over 650 records containing contact details of companies that manufacture, sell or hire specific aids and equipment in Scotland. Also included are records of agencies and organisations that provide specialist advice on disability aids, as well as other useful service providers.

Holidays for All - Scotland is a CD rom containing information about accessible holiday provision in Scotland. It offers details of accessible holiday accommodation, travel and transport, holiday funding, specialist travel agencies, holiday insurance, holiday equipment hire, and funding possibilities.

The Access Guide is a wall chart giving information about physical access to premises. It covers issues such as the size of parking spaces, the layout of accessible toilets, switch heights, door sizes, and many useful notes about environmental access. The Scottish Formats Resource is a directory of service providers who are able to work with you to provide information in accessible formats such as braille, audio CD, large print and easy to read. The resource is available as a CD ROM. Internet users can view The Scottish Formats Resource online.
